The Guild stack is already powerful, but many people still don’t fully grasp its potential. To showcase the capabilities of the Guild requirements identity engine and position Guild as a world-class ecosystem growth tool, I propose developing two key, synergistic features: a Guild Race Engine and a Guild Referral Engine. Together, these can transform Guild from a token gating tool into a full-fledged ecosystem growth platform.

1. Guild Race Engine

This product allows for the creation of "races" where participants earn points by completing tasks (e.g., collecting different Guild roles). The race creator can modify several parameters, including:

For example, the top three winners could each receive a reward, such as 1000 USDC. The UI should be simple, making it clear how participants can earn points, including potential secret methods to gain extra points. This structure incentivizes engagement and encourages members to take part actively.

2. Guild Referral Engine

A referral system, potentially called the “Pull Engine,” would incentivize participants to bring others into a race (or Guild that isn’t using the race feature, or not using it yet). Referrers would earn a percentage of the points gained by those they invite. For example, if you refer a friend who earns 100 points, you could receive an additional 20% of their points. This feature would enhance the network effect by rewarding people who contribute to the growth of the community.

See a proof of concept example here of how fruitful inviters can earn a lot of points by inviting the right people: https://playground.garysheng.com/demos/simplest

The combination of these features would position Guild as a powerful ecosystem growth tool. The first versions of the Guild Race and Referral Engines could be built as internal hackathon projects.

These features would not only make Guild indispensable for community engagement but also shift its perception from a token gating utility to a dynamic growth engine for ecosystems worldwide.
