I just wrapped up a podcast recording with my friend Ami from Versi. During the episode, Ami gave a shoutout to my wiki - https://wiki.garysheng.com/, where I share insights I've gathered from life. He mentioned how it was dope for me to share those insights publicly.

This sparked an idea. I suggested that "The Guilded Age" should have its own wiki, where…

• Gary (aka Guild Team) drafts 1 or more initial posts inspired by each episode, which the guest could then edit and expand but don’t have to.
• These posts are valuable standalone, but could also be compiled into a book (and other mediums like dedicated educational shorts).
  • Re: the book, we could take a page from Rick Rubin's "The Creative Act," which is a collection of micro-chapters, essentially like wiki pages. Imagine a community builder's version of that—"The Co-Creative Act."

This wouldn’t mean we replace short video clips.

This wiki concept taps into my love for writing and creating wikis. It also means community builders wouldn't need to listen to entire podcast episodes to benefit from the insights we aggregate and share. And ultimately, this would further position Guild as the go-to toolkit for community builders.
