Situation:
- Guild has no product marketers, or social media managers, or clear spokespeople with the departure of Reka
- Not many posts on Twitter
- Seems like there’s a big opportunity to do detailed case studies on communities that use Guild REALLY effectively
- Is there a devrel?
- Notes:
- Raz can shitpost - very native to internet - sometimes brought in 300/400k reach per post
- once product started maturing and more serious - he had to convert into a product focused role - eventually BD etc - stopped having bandwidth to put out posts
- Reka built a structured way of communicating online
- Raz is overwhelmed with just talking to clients - doesnt have time to communicate
- really wants to build a strong narrative
Goals:
- TOP GOAL: Help the Guild team develop a marketing strategy, including a grand narrative, especially as Guild X.0 gets launched
- MINOR:
- Support Bruno in developing as a spokesperson / help him build a personal brand
- Help strategize on how he hires a marketing team
- Get into a flow of Gary and Raz actually working together
Details:
- Up to 3 hours a week
- 1 hour synchronous jam time, with Raz (and Bruno?)
- up to 2 hours a week of gary reviewing Guild team documents / tweet drafts / whatever else
